West Coast First Aid Training (WCFAT) is a trading name of Kevin Emery (ABN 33 170 747 028), based in Duncraig, Western Australia. We deliver nationally accredited first aid training across Perth and Broome WA on behalf of Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO 90909.

- Organisation name
- Course type, preferred dates, and number of participants
- Location and delivery address
Course enrolment and assessment
- Full legal name

- Unique Student Identifier (USI)
- Prior qualifications (if applicable)
- Assessment results and competency outcomes
- Language, literacy, and numeracy information (where relevant)
Equipment hire
- Name, contact details, and organisation
- Photo identification details
- Delivery address
- First aid certificate details (for AED hire)

- Information you submit via our contact and enquiry forms
- Basic analytics data (pages visited, time on site) — see Section 9
3. How We Collect It
We collect personal information directly from you when you:
- Submit an enquiry via our website contact form
- Email or phone us directly
- Enrol in a course through our training management system (Training Desk / iVET)
- Complete pre-course online learning
- Hire equipment from WCFAT
We do not collect personal information from third parties without your knowledge, except where required by law or our RTO obligations.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information to:
- Respond to course and equipment hire enquiries
- Provide quotes and process bookings
- Enrol you in courses and deliver training
- Issue nationally recognised Statements of Attainment
- Report training outcomes to Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO 90909 as required under our agreement
- Submit data to the Australian Vocational Education and Training Management Information Statistical Standard (AVETMISS) as required by law
- Verify your Unique Student Identifier (USI) with the USI Registrar
- Send course reminders, renewal notices, and relevant training updates
- Process equipment hire and manage hire agreements
- Improve our services
We will not use your personal information for any purpose not described in this policy without your consent.
5. Who We Share It With
We may share your personal information with:
- Allens Training Pty Ltd (RTO 90909) — as the registered training organisation on whose behalf we deliver training. Required for course registration, certificate issuance, and AVETMISS reporting.
- USI Registrar — for Unique Student Identifier verification as required by the Student Identifiers Act 2014.
- NCVER (National Centre for Vocational Education Research) — for mandatory AVETMISS statistical reporting.
- Training Desk / iVET — our training management system providers, for course administration and certificate delivery.
- Formspree — our website form processing service, which transmits your enquiry form data to us. Formspree's privacy policy is available at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.
All third-party service providers we use are bound by confidentiality obligations and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.
6. How We Store and Protect It
Your personal information is stored securely using Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive) with two-factor authentication enabled. Enrolment and assessment data is stored in Training Desk and iVET — cloud-based training management systems with their own security measures.
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure.
When personal information is no longer needed, we destroy or de-identify it securely — subject to any legal or regulatory obligations requiring us to retain records (see Section 7).
7. Training Records
As a training provider delivering on behalf of an RTO, we are required to retain certain training records. Specifically:
- Enrolment records and assessment outcomes are retained for a minimum of 30 years as required under the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015.
- You may request a copy of your training records at any time by contacting us.
8. Your Rights
Under the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct any personal information that is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date
- Complain about a breach of the APPs
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time

9. Website Cookies
Our website (wcfat.com.au) is hosted on Netlify and does not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or any behavioural tracking tools.
Google Fonts are loaded from Google's servers when you visit our site — this may result in your IP address being transmitted to Google. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
