About This Course
HLTAID016 is for the person responsible for first aid at an organisational level — not the first aider themselves, but the coordinator who ensures compliance, trains people, maintains equipment, and manages first aid policy. Often required for HSE managers, WHS officers, and first aid coordinators at larger organisations.
HLTAID016 does not cover first aid treatment or CPR. It covers management and coordination. Most people who do HLTAID016 already hold HLTAID011 or higher — this completes their first aid management role.
