First Aid Training Courses

The online section of the course will take approximately 3-4 hours to complete, followed by a one-day in-class practical assessment. For group bookings of this course, a minimum of eight (8) people is necessary.

HLTAID003/11 One day

Provide first aid HLTAID003 is a requirement for workplace first-aid. You will gain the skills and knowledge necessary to provide first aid and life support, manage casualties, the incident, and other First Aiders until emergency certified help arrives at the scene of the incident in this course. HLTAID003 Provide first aid under the criteria of the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC). This course is for students who have prior First Aid experience or are new to First Aid and are comfortable learning in a mixed delivery environment.

HLTAID004/12. Provide First Aid in Education & in Care Settings.

This course gives educators and child care workers the knowledge and skills needed to administer first aid and respond to a first-aid emergency. The duration of the course is re-reading knowledge, testing takes about 2 hours to complete, and the practical exam takes one day in class.

Eligibility: The course is for educators and support staff who work in an education or care setting, and must respond to a first-aid emergency, such as asthmatic or allergic emergencies.
