Description:
The course includes strategies and information needed to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). It is an ideal course for people who may be skilled and required to give CPR to an infant in any range of situations.

 

You will learn and experience the strategies through the latest state-of-the-art QCPR real-time feedback manikins. The curriculum also involves a DRSABCD action plan. The learning strategies here will help you in handling emergencies and manage unconscious casualties.

 

You will gain knowledge about the procedure of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) with the help of a defibrillator (AED) which will boost your confidence and help you in dealing with situations.

If you are planning to enroll in a CPR course, you need to go through:

  1. An assessment of Reasonable level (AQF level 3) of spoken and written English (Here is the link to the LLN assessment.)
  2. Physical fitness is a must to facilitate the completion of practical components of the course.

Once you complete this course, West Coast First Aid will provide you with a certificate of accomplishment and, the certificate of completion is valid for one year.

You will be evaluated for your knowledge by the experts and the evaluation process will involve a questionnaire, reasonable exercises, and your observation and skills to provide CPR.
